Jason Shanks

Divine Intimacy

President of Our Sunday Visitor

Find out why Divine Intimacy is the most important aspect of our lives. He shares his powerful story and how God’s presence in his life was critical as he faced his own near death experience during Covid. Learn from him how you can strengthen your own friendship with Christ, not only in times of crisis, but in a daily routine. Every leader needs this foundation of divine intimacy, so that we can help other men do the same.

Tim Glemkowski

The Eucharist

CEO of the National Eucharistic Conference

St Augustine wrote, become what you receive. If you want to be a true heroic leader, you need to receive He who is Heroism itself, and deepen your understanding so that you can be a Heroic Leader for others. As CEO of the Eucharistic Congress, learn from Tim Glemkowski’s experiences of true Eucharistic revival must begin in our own hearts first as leaders, and missionary disciples.

David Bereit

Clarity and conviction for the Little Way of evangelization

Co-founder of 40 Days for Life

The big way of evangelization is events, and tentpole summits. But we’re all called to the little way of evangelization, which is heart to heart, man to man. David is one of the most remarkable leaders in the church today, and deeply believes that when leaders bring men together small groups, starting where you are right now, we can strengthen men faster than you could believe. And then grow that impact.

Deacon Charlie Echeverry

Building Authentic Brotherhood

Founder of the Black/Brown Collective

As a successful CEO and ardent deacon, Deacon Charlie is a tremendous leader today. He believes that that brotherhood is the key. As a consultant to many influential Catholic leaders and organizations, he has his finger on the pulse of the Church’s needs. Authentic brotherhood helps strengthen us as leaders to step up and strengthen men.

Andre Regnier  will lead us throughout the weekend in prayer, and helping us to develope practical strategies to strengthen and deepen our daily prayer life.

Bishop Joseph Coffey & Fr Larry Richards will lead us in our liturgies and our time with the Lord in Adoration.

The 2023 CMLA/Heroic Summit was a game-changer, a rallying cry for us to step up and embrace our heroic potential.

The energy, the camaraderie, the deep, honest conversations—these events are where brotherhood is forged and lives are transformed. For those of you reading this comment. If you haven’t been, make it a priority. Surround yourself with men who challenge you to be better, who lift you up when you’re down, and who remind you of the hero within. You won’t regret it—this is where the real work of becoming the men we’re meant to be happens.

– Alan Diaz, 2023 Attendee

Father Larry Headshot

Father Larry’s first book, “Be a Man! Becoming the Man God Created You To Be,” was published by Ignatius Press in October of 2009, and was the #1 best seller by Ignatius Press, having sold over 100,000 copies. In “Be a Man!” he recounts his struggles to learn true manhood, as well as the inspiring stories of others he has served in his decades as a priest. He tells men how to focus on the right goal, how to live as a beloved son of God, of the need to acknowledge one’s faults and to live according to the Holy Spirit, to be a man of true love and of wisdom, to appreciate properly the differences between men and women, to pursue holiness, and to make a difference in the world. Not preachy, but direct, Father Larry challenges men to be strong, without putting on a mask of false strength or machismo. He calls men to admit their weaknesses and limitations, while urging them to find strength in faith and genuine love to overcome their sins and faults.

Father Larry’s second book, “Surrender! The Life Changing Power of Doing God’s Will,” was published by Our Sunday Visitor in September of 2011 and has sold over 40,000 copies. Fr. Larry Richards challenges you to let go of attachments, assumptions, and excuses that hold you back from giving yourself more fully to God, in order to receive everything God wants to give you.

In 2014, a Catholic Men’s Bible, NABRE, with introduction and instructions by Fr. Larry was published by Our Sunday Visitor.  A Scripture Desk Calendar entitled “No Bible, No Breakfast! No Bible, No Bed!” containing both morning and evening Scripture passages and encouraging words from Fr. Larry, was published by The Word Among Us in 2014.

Father can be heard on the EWTN internet radio show called “The Reason For Our Hope” on Mondays and Fridays at 1:00 p.m. (EST), and the EWTN radio show called “Father Knows Best” on Mondays and Fridays at 4:00 a.m. (EST), and was a previous favorite on the live EWTN radio show called “Open Line” on Thursdays.

Father Larry can be seen on the EWTN televised programs “Living Right with Dr. Ray” and “Crossing the Goal”.  EWTN broadcasted a mini-series entitled “Be A Man” in 2014 in five episodes to inspire men to become the true heroes they long to be – men of courage, compassion and integrity.

Heroic Leadership Summit

“This Heroic Leadership Summit inspires great hope. It was transformative for me.” – 2023 Attendee

Heroic men live on the cutting edge.

We learned from last year, and pulled out all the stops to give every man the tools, skills, and training you need to be a Heroic leader.

Join us to level up, workshop your skills, network, and forge the connections needed to excel in every aspect of life.

  • Did you know that lack of brotherhood is an epidemic among Catholic men?
  • 31% of men don’t even have one friend at their parish.
  • 55% of men in the pews on Sunday do not know 10 other men by their first names. And these are the men who are attending Mass.

What’s happening to the rest?

The answer is brotherhood. Like Christ and his close band of apostles, every man needs his brotherhood. True brotherhood calls men off the sidelines and into the adventure of their lives.

Brother, our mission field is every man in every diocese in North America. Are you ready to lock arms with your brothers at the Heroic Leadership Summit, and reach these men?
